Living in a make-believe land

Hee! Ik hoop dat dit de laatste outfit met een trui is. Ik hou van de winter, maar ik ben wel weer toe aan een beetje zonlicht :) Maaar... Ik heb vandaag het eerste ijsje van het jaar gegeten (yup, het was maar 5 graden buiten). En ik ben niet de enige: woensdag deed ik de deur open en Boefje rende gelijk naar buiten om vervolgens in het gras te gaan rollen.  Anyway, wat vind je van mijn kanten blouse? Ik vind de kleurencombi met de leggins en mijn schoenen erg leuk!

Hee! I hope this will be the last outfit with a jumper. I love the winter, but I'm longing for a bit of sunlight. Buuuut... I ate the first icecream of this year (yup, it was only 5 degrees). And I don't think I'm the only one: Wednesday I opened the door and Boefje immediately runned outside and started rolling over in the grass. Anyway, what do you think of my blouse?  I like the colourcombo with the leggings and my shoes a lot!

Even een snelle post om je deze awesome ring te laten zien. Ik heb 'm deze december in Newcastle gekocht. Ik ging naar Newcastle met mam als verjaardagscadeau (klik om de post te zien). Iedere keer dat ik deze ring draag, denk ik aan de superdag die we hadden.

Just a quick post to show you this awesome ring. I bought it in Newcastle this December. I went to Newcastle with my mum as a birthdaypresent (click to see the post).  Every time I wear it I think of the great day we had.

Rays of sunshine

Iedere keer dat ik deze jas aantrek, voel ik me meteen helemaal vrolijk. Vind je de kleur niet gewoon fantastisch? Ik vind het echt de perfecte kleur voor deze donkere, grijze winterdagen. Ik heb deze jas dit weekend gekocht. En dat ging nog niet zo makkelijk. Samen met mam was ik in de stad en het was ongelooflijk rustig. Na een uurtje kwamen we erachter waarom: hevige sneeuwval. Dus we kwamen in een soort sneeuwstorm terecht :P Maar de jas is het zeker waard, vind je niet?

Everytime I put on this coat, I feel instant happiness. Don't you just love the colour? I think it's perfect for the greyish, dark winterdays. I bought the coat this weekend. And this wasn't a easy thing. I was in town with my mum and it was incredibly quiet. After an hour we discovered why: heavy snowfall. So we kinda ended up in a snowstorm :P But the coat was defenitely worth it, don't you think?

Yesterday my dear friend Ryanne threw her sweet sixteen. First we had dinner. She made all the food herself with her sister, and it was delicious! Afterwards we watched a movie. Didn't really get a lot of it, 'cause we had too much fun (: You see her in the pic in her garden. She was wearing a cute top and matching eyeshadow. She's really good with eyeshadow, especially the funky colours. I don't think you can see that in this pic, but anyway. Take a look at her blog, if you already hadn't.

These awesome lace-up wedges are new. I love them. Don't think I'll ever take them off. Although it might be a bit uncomfortable while sleeping... And my new top of course. My followers know that I like lace, maybe a little too much. But I couldn't resist this short top. The weather was too rainy to wear it without a top underneath it, but I still love it!

Fudge, it's not as easy as it sounds

Hi dear,


This is the first post about a complete and utter failure. Ready for it?


A few days ago my mother gave me heart- and flowershaped molds for chocolate and other little bonbons. So yesterday evening I decided to try making fudge in them. My father and brother were watching some kind of a bad science fiction, so I didn't miss anything hahaha. Anyway, it wasn't going totally right. I honestly don't know what happened. All I know is that I ended up outside with a cookbook, a wooden spoon and a thin brownish blending. In the end I gave up stirring, which I had been doing for 15 minutes, in stead of 2. And I put them in the fridge. Only this morning, it was still not hard, so I put it in the freezer.

Now, two hours later, it still is as soft as possible. I dunno what to do with it xd. Although the taste is good. But not perfect, because I put too much almond extract in it.  I think I'll consider it as a failure. So I don't give you the recipe, until it's perfect.

I'll just tell you a bit about yesterday. To give you the feeling that you didn't only see a failure haha. Yesterday was a lovely day, I could lay in my bikini all day because there wasn't any wind. So my tan is even better right now (: And I also made a little crocodile with tiny beads, although I tink it more looks like a salamander. Anyway, I had fun with Rachel, so I don't mind. It's cute and it decorates my étui.  

I used to remainings of the silver thread to make a cute ring.

All I want to do is to mess around

My teacher Latin today said today: "Oh gosh, you like you're gonna party right this minute". It made me laugh. I think it's awesome to dress everyday like you're gonna party all day all night. Even when you aren't. This glittery top makes me very happy. 


So because I was a bit in the partymood, I wanted to mess around outside. After school I went to the little lake with my friend Mylène. I loved it. We had a lot of fun. I think it's the ultimate way to be happy (: 

And in the end I jumped in a pool of mud by accident. Way too stupid of course. You can see it in the picture where I look down. It was a bit like: "Oh no, ooooops, this is mud, not jus a bit of black earth!" There was dark black stinky stuff all over my right foot up until my tights hahahaha. 


What do you think of my outfit? The little stars you see, that's my ring. I think it perfectly matches my glittery top. I just felt like dressing up this morning. I had organised a performance in our music classroom during lunchbreak. Asked a band if they wanted to play, made posters, invited people and stuff. So I was a bit nervous about what it was going to be like, if there would be people interested. Wasn't that necessary xd. A lot of people came and the reactions were very positive. It was awesome. Really something to repeat, in my opinion!

Cup of coffee

Dear you,


I just wanted to post a picture of my ring. It isn't new or anything. But I kinda refound it in my jewellerybox. And I asked myself like a thousend times why I left it alone for such a long time (: And a lot of my friends thought the same as everyone told me today it's so cute.

I bought it in Köln. Christmas 2010, we went there with school. And everytime I wear this ring, I think about the great time we had there. I think Köln is one of the most fantastic cities there is. 

And the best thing is maybe the it's possible to pick up the cup because there's a little magnet under it. Aaawhh, it's so cute!
